The story

From blueprints to little plastic people.

Maria grew up in Guadalajara, the kind of city that teaches you to notice shape, light and color almost without asking. She studied architecture and spent years designing buildings — learning proportion, balance, and how a small detail can change the whole feeling of a space.

Five years ago, a friend's daughter asked her for something unusual: a custom Funko Pop of her best friend, as a birthday gift. Maria said yes mostly because she couldn't say no. She sculpted it on her desk between architectural drawings, painted it by hand, and boxed it up.

The gift undid the whole room. Within weeks, friends of friends were asking for their own. Then strangers from Instagram. The studio quietly grew around the kitchen table, and what was once a favor became a small, very personal business.

Today, every Funko that leaves the studio is sculpted, painted and packed by Maria. The same trained eye she once used to design buildings now goes into getting the curl of someone's hair right, or the exact shade of a parent's favorite shirt. Every piece is a one-of-one — built for the person who's actually going to keep it on their shelf.

"Buildings outlive us. So do the little objects we love. I just like making sure the people in them feel seen."
